Amarnath Yatra 2024: 30th group of pilgrims leaves to visit the Holy Cave

Jammu| On Saturday, the 30th batch of pilgrims left the Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu at 3:25 am in a convoy of 63 vehicles amid tight security. 999 pilgrims will reach Pahalgam to undertake the pilgrimage through the traditional 48-kilometre-long route in Anantnag district. At the same time, 772 have chosen the short but difficult Baltal route of 14 kilometers long in Ganderbal district.

So far, more than 4.45 lakh pilgrims have visited the naturally formed ice linga in the 3,880 meter high cave temple. This time passengers have broken the 12-year record. In just 29 days, the number of passengers has crossed four and a half lakh.
