Congress to surround the UP Assembly, all workers expected to take part in the protest

Lucknow| Congress has made preparations to surround the Uttar Pradesh Assembly. Workers from many districts have reached Lucknow to take part in this protest.
Uttar Pradesh Police has tightened security in view of the siege. At the same time, notices have been sent to more than two dozen senior leaders including State President Ajay Rai, outgoing State General Secretary Organization Anil Yadav, Dinesh Singh. Congress party leaders and workers are ready to take to the streets to gherao the Assembly, which is likely to increase the political turmoil in Uttar Pradesh.
This demonstration is being held against the policies and issues of the state government. Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee will corner the Yogi government on various issues including unemployment, inflation, Hindu-Muslim politics, electricity, health system, education, Sambhal.
A large number of police forces have been deployed in Lucknow and additional security measures have been taken at sensitive places. Security personnel are on alert in the Assembly and its surrounding areas, so that any untoward incident can be dealt with. Apart from this, the police have also made special arrangements to keep an eye on the activities of the protesters. Traffic may also be affected across the city, so people have been warned to follow traffic and safety instructions in time.
On Tuesday, the second day of the winter session of the Legislature, Uttar Pradesh Government Finance Minister Suresh Khanna presented the second supplementary budget of Rs 17 thousand 865.72 crore. The original budget is 2.42 percent of 7 lakh 36 thousand 437.71 crore. It has new proposals worth 790.49 crore. In this, the budget was allocated the most to agriculture and industry. During this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present.
The Assembly will be in session on 17, 18, 19 and 20 December. Various major issues affecting the state are expected to be discussed in this session. Which includes Sambhal violence, anti-encroachment campaign, preparations for Mahakumbh, Jhansi fire incident etc.
