President Draupadi Murmu, PM Modi and other leaders congratulated the countrymen on Guru Nanak Jayanti
New Delhi| Many senior leaders including the country’s President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah have congratulated the countrymen on Guru Nanak Jayanti.
Guru Nanak Jayanti is celebrated every year on Kartik Purnima. It is also celebrated as Guru Parv and Prakash Parv. This time the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev is being celebrated. Many big leaders wished the countrymen on Guru Nanak Jayanti through the social media platform ‘X’.
The country’s President Draupadi Murmu wrote on ‘X’, “On the auspicious occasion of the Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, I heartily congratulate all Indians living in the country and abroad, especially the brothers and sisters of the Sikh community”. Guru Nanak Dev Ji has shown us the path of spirituality based on hard work. He has taught us to create a society based on truth, contentment, kindness, humility and love.
She further wrote, “Guru Nanak Dev Ji has emphasized on sharing in social life which is the path to social harmony. Guru Nanak ji is a beacon for us. It is the collective responsibility of all of us to build a harmonious and equitable society by adopting his ideals.
Congratulating the countrymen on Guru Nanak Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on ‘X’, “Congratulations on the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji”. May the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji inspire us to pursue the spirit of compassion, kindness and humility. It also inspires us to serve society and improve our earth”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah greeted the countrymen on Guru Nanak Jayanti through ‘X’. He wrote, “Heartiest greetings to all the countrymen on the Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji”. Guru Nanak Dev Ji is a unique example of truth, compassion and equality. His teachings have been a guide for the entire humanity. The life of Guru Nanak Ji will continue to show direction on the path of peace, humanity and harmony.
He further wrote, “Congratulations to all the countrymen on the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Guru Nanak Dev Ji is an incredible example of truth, kindness and equality. His teachings have been a guide for the entire humanity. The life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji will continue to inspire us to follow the path of peace, humanity and harmony.
At the same time, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also wished the countrymen on this auspicious occasion through ‘X’. He wrote, “I salute Guru Nanak Dev Ji on his birth anniversary. His eternal teachings inspire us to focus on serving people and fighting against discrimination in our society. His thoughts will continue to inspire generations to come.”
