PM Modi Russia Visit: PM Modi addresses Indian community in Moscow

World| PM Modi addressing the Indian community started his speech by speaking in Russian language. He said that I have brought with me the smell of the soil of India. After coming to power for the third time, the first meeting with the Indian diaspora is being held here in Moscow. I took oath a month ago today. I was sworn in as PM of India for the third time on 9 June.

Addressing the Indian community in Moscow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “This love of yours, this affection of yours, you took out time to come here, I am very grateful to you. I have not come alone. I have brought a lot with me. I have brought with me the smell of Indian soil. I bring with me the love of 140 million countrymen…”

Addressing the people of the Indian community in Russia, PM Modi said that the aim of the third term of my government is to make India the third biggest economy. Building houses for Indians is also a big goal of the third term. I want to enhance the potential of women. Three crore women have to be made millionaire didis. Their annual income should be more than Rs 1 lakh.

Addressing the Indian community in Moscow, Russia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Today India is the country which has the third largest start-up eco system in the world. In 2014, when you guys gave me the opportunity to serve the country for the first time, there used to be start-ups in a few hundreds, today it is in lakhs. Today India is the country which is filing a record number of patents, publishing research papers and this is the strength of the youth of my country. The world is also surprised to see the talent of the youth of India।” PM said that when India electricizes more than 40 thousand km of rail line, the world realizes the power of India. They feel that India is changing. Today India is creating records of digital payments. Today India is building the highest bridge in the world, so the world can see the changing India.

PM Modi said in his address that today the world’s perspective of looking at India is changing. 140 crore Indians have done this. Today Indians living abroad are proud. Today 140 crore Indians are preparing to move ahead. We have been successful in getting our economy out of the Covid crisis. When people of the world come to India they say India is changing… What are they seeing changing? They are able to clearly see the rejuvenation of India, the reconstruction of India…” We are creating standards in the world.

Addressing the Indian community in Moscow, Russia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the people of the Indian community are taking the relations between India and Russia further. Russia is India’s companion in happiness and sorrow. The friendship between India and Russia has always been warm. This relationship is formed on the basis of mutual trust. Here in every house the song was sung ‘Red hat on the head’…This song may be old but the feelings are still the same. I am a fan of India-Russia relations. The strength of our relationships has been tested many times and has emerged stronger every time.

PM Modi said that during the Ukraine war, President Putin helped in evacuating Indians. Thanks to my friend Putin for this. Russia and India are walking shoulder to shoulder today. In 10 years, I have come to Russia for the sixth time. PM Modi announced the opening of two new consulates in Russia. He said that this will make commutation easier.
