Parliament Session: Uproar in Parliament over NEET issue; Lok Sabha adjourned till Monday morning, Rajya Sabha also disrupted
New Delhi| Discussion on the motion of thanks for the President’s address started in both the Houses of Parliament from today. Even before the discussion in the Lok Sabha, the opposition started creating ruckus regarding NEET after which the proceedings of the lower house were adjourned till Monday morning.
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said that, “Yesterday a meeting of leaders of all opposition parties was held and there was consensus that today we want discussion on the issue of NEET. NEET should be discussed here in the House. I request the Prime Minister that this is a youth issue and it should be discussed properly. We will do it respectfully.”
Rahul Gandhi said that NEET should be discussed in the House. Students are the future of our country. Their issue should be discussed seriously. We are willing to debate this calmly.
