Monsoon 2024: Heavy rain predicted in 11 districts of Eastern UP

Lucknow|It has been raining heavily in most areas of the state for the last one week. Due to this, the maximum temperature has settled in between 33-35 degrees and the 25 degrees celsius. However, the pace of monsoon has slowed down in Lucknow and surrounding districts since Sunday.
There will be heavy movement of clouds for the next two days. There are no chances of any rain except drizzle, but the weather is expected to take a turn from Thursday and Lucknow will receive good rainfall till July 14. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is expected in 11 districts including Eastern UP on Tuesday and Wednesday. In the capital, the day temperature was recorded at 34.8 and the night at 25.9 °C.
Senior meteorologist Atul Kumar Singh said that a warning of heavy rain along with thunderstorm has been issued in Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich and surrounding areas on Tuesday.
