Mahakumbh tent city to be equipped with facilities like super deluxe hotel

Prayagraj| Keeping in mind the facilities of crores of devotees coming to Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025, Yogi government is setting up more than 2,000 Swiss Cottage Based Tents in Sector-20 (Arail) of Mahakumbh Mela area. These tents are being set up by Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation Limited (UPSTDC) and are setting up various tent blocks together with 6 partners.

Prominent among them are Aavarana, Kumbh Camp India, Rishikul Kumbh Cottage, Kumbh Village, Kumbh Canvas and Era. The special thing is that these tents will be established and operated as per world class standards, which will be equipped with the facilities of five star hotel category.

These super deluxe tents will be available in villas, maharajas, Swiss cottages and dormitory formats, with pricing fixed at between 1,500 and 35,000 per day. At the same time, in addition to dormitories, a fee of 4,000 to 8,000 will have to be paid for the stay of the additional person.

The tent city being established by UPSTDC is being prepared as per the vision of CM Yogi. It is estimated that Mahakumbh 2025 may attract more than 45 crore visitors from 75 countries, so these tents will be operated between the time period of 1 January to 5 March to provide them with a World Class Accommodation Facility. These tents can also be booked through UPSTDC website and Mahakumbh app.

For the convenience of the people staying in Tents, Villa Tents is being built in an area of 900 square feet, Super Deluxe Tents are being built in an area of 480 to 580 square feet and Deluxe Blocks are being established in an area of 250 to 400 square feet.

These tents will have facilities like AC, double bed, mattress, sofa set, customized interiors, writing desk, electric geyser, fire extinguishers, quilt, blanket, mosquito net, WiFi, dining area and common sitting area, which will provide pleasant environmental views along the river bank. Will provide observation experience. At the same time, their package will also include providing information about yoga, cultural events and other major places and areas of religious importance related to Prayagraj.
