‘King of Swing’ Bhuvneshwar Kumar travels by Lucknow Metro

Lucknow: Cricketers including Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Captain Priyam Garg from the Lucknow Falcons of the UP T-20 League travelled by Lucknow Metro today for a special Meet and Greet with budding cricketers and Cricket enthusiasts at the Hazratganj Metro Station. The players who travelled by metro from Indiranagar to Hazratganj expressed their delight on witnessing the world-class infrastructure and cleanliness of the Lucknow Metro.

Director Operations/UPMRC Prashant Mishra and Director Rolling Stock Naveen Kumar welcomed the Lucknow Falcons team at the Hazratganj Metro Station and extended their best wishes for the UP T-20 tournament.

Young cricket players who met the Lucknow Falcons at the Hazratganj Metro Station had their fan moment when they got the opportunity to ask them questions and get tips on building a career in cricket, discipline and nuances of bowling and batting. The Lucknow Falcons presented a special autographed merchandise T-shirt as a memento to Lucknow Metro.

In the upcoming UP T-20 tournament, the Lucknow Falcons will represent Lucknow among several teams from Uttar Pradesh. A total of 6 teams from Uttar Pradesh will compete, each representing their respective cities. All matches of the UP T-20 tournament, starting tomorrow, will be played at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
