Lucknow| On the festival of Janmashtami, devotees make different types of sweets for Lord Shri Krishna. Panjiri is also offered as a bhog on the birthday of Shri Krishna. First step – To make coriander panjiri, you have to heat half a cup of ghee in a pan. Now add one cup dry coriander powder to it and fry it well on low flame.
Second step – When the color of coriander powder turns brown and fragrance starts coming from it, then you can turn off the gas and keep it aside.
Third step – Now after emptying this pan, add some ghee in it and fry half cup chopped cashews, almonds, pistachios, raisins and one-fourth cup of makhana.
Fourth step – Let the dry fruits turn golden and the makhanas become crispy. Now take them out from the pan and keep them aside.
Fifth Step – After this, you have to mix about half cup of sugar, roasted dry fruits and makhana, one-fourth cup of coconut filth and half spoon cardamom powder in roasted coriander powder.
