‘CM Yogi did miraculous work in UP’- Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar
Lucknow| Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated Sainik School in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. During this, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar praised CM Yogi Adityanath profusely. While addressing the gathering, the Vice President said that Uttar Pradesh is the best state. The miraculous work done by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in just seven years is appreciated everywhere. It was difficult and unimaginable to operate as a Sainik School in three years, but I was confident that CM Yogi would do so. You scared the fear that we were afraid of earlier in UP.’
He said that Sainik School in Gorakhpur is a miracle. The legacy of Gorakhpur will echo among the children studying here. Change cannot happen without education. The light here will spread throughout the country. Yogi became the successor of Gorakshpeeth in Gorakhpur 30 years ago. After this Gorakhpur got representation in the Parliament. Now he is playing a better role as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The structure of Purvanchal’s first military school has improved. Dhankhar said, I grew up in Sainik School. Although I was born in Pithana village, my real birth took place in the military school of Chittorgarh. Coming here today refreshed old memories.
He said that today Prime Minister Modi has given India a new identity in the world. Uttar Pradesh has an important contribution in that. Before 2017, there was no rule of law in the state. This is not a hidden thing from anyone. Nationality is our identity. Nation is our priority above personal interest. India of ten years ago is not there today. Today the country is developing. Indianness is our identity and nation is our religion. We have to put nationalism above personal selfishness. Compromising nationalism will be a betrayal of the nation. We do not have to tolerate those who question the nation.
The Vice President said that today’s India is not the India of ten years ago, but a strong India. Earlier the country’s gold was mortgaged in the banks of Switzerland, today this is not the situation, rather the country has a sufficient gold treasury. In Kashmir where no one was seen, more than two crore tourists have been coming for two-three years after the end of Section 370.
Vice President Dhankhar said that when Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath of the country’s largest province came to my residence and gave me an invitation letter for the inauguration of Sainik School, I became very emotional. Although everything about Yogi ji is extraordinary, but Yogi ji’s invitation letter for Sainik School was also extraordinary. He invited me as an old student of Sainik School. Yogi ji’s eyes are sharp and connoisseur. Even my close relatives would not have done as much homework on me to call me.
Gorakhpur Sainik School is the first Sainik School in Eastern Uttar Pradesh and the second Sainik School run by Uttar Pradesh Sainik School Society. This is the fifth Sainik School of Uttar Pradesh. It has three in Jhansi, Amethi and Mainpuri, which are operated by the Defense Ministry. Inaugurated by Dhankhar in Gorakhpur, Sainik School is built on 49 acres. Its cost is Rs 176.45 crore.
