Lucknow| Eight people died in building collapse incident on Saturday. Officials said on Sunday that three more bodies have been recovered from the debris.  Regarding the incident, Lucknow MP and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh wrote on social media platform. ‘I have got information about the situation from the District Magistrate of Lucknow over phone. The local administration is carrying out relief and rescue work on the spot and is engaged in all possible help to the victims.’

Dr. Rajiv Dixit stated that 28 people were brought in injured conditions, of whom 8 died. Three people have been referred to KGMU Trauma Center as the situation remained serious. The condition of other people is under control, the injured are being treated.

ADG LO Amitabh Yash said that 28 people have been pulled out from the debris, 8 people have died. The cause of the incident is being investigated and the rescue operation is underway. Saving people’s lives is our priority. The matter will be investigated after the rescue is completed. Two teams of NDRF and SDRF along with the fire department are engaged in rescue operations.

He said that the reason for the collapse of the building will be known only after the rescue operation. At present the injured are undergoing treatment in hospitals. Various departments have been deployed in relief and rescue operations. Work is being done to save people with the coordination of all departments. The entire building is being searched. All technical equipment has been deployed for searching. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also keeping an eye on the entire incident.
