‘Before 2014 there was terrorism, separatism and Naxalism; Now respect for faith along with development’- CM Yogi
Lucknow| Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that before 2014 there was terrorism, separatism, extremism, Naxalism in the country. Governments used to play with India’s faith by crossing the heights of appeasement. Now development is happening rapidly. Faith is also getting respect. He said that now change is visible in the country. Just as Kashi has changed, similarly there has been a change in the country and Uttar Pradesh also. Indians are feeling proud of their development heritage. India today has world class infrastructure. The vision of One India, Best India has come true.
India will become the third largest economy in the next three years. The roadmap for 2047 has been presented by PM Modi to the countrymen. 140 crore countrymen and 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh are happy, so the credit for this goes to Kashi, because PM Modi represents Kashi in the Parliament. Ten years ago someone thought that Kashi Vishwanath Dham would become so grand. The air and waterways connectivity here will be so good. Four lane roads, beautiful ghats, arrangements for monasteries and temples will be beautified. Heritage will get recognition. Prayagraj Kumbh can be grand and divine. A grand temple of Shri Ram Lalla will be constructed in Ayodhya. Article 370 will be removed from Kashmir. India’s borders will be safe. 4 crore poor will get housing, 10 crore poor will get toilets, 12 crore poor will get connection of Ujjwala scheme, 80 crore people will get free ration facility, but now all this has became possible.
CM said that even ordinary MPs do not give as much time as PM Modi gives in his parliamentary constituency. Kashi’s water, land and air connectivity has improved. Kashi’s spiritual and cultural identity remains intact. In terms of development, Kashi has been presented on the global stage.
CM Yogi said that PM Modi has given a vision to the country. Digital India is one of them. A new revolution has come in the country and the world through DBT. Changes have been brought in the lives of the youth through various schemes. The aspirations of the youth have also been given new wings to fly.
CM Yogi said that PM Vishwakarma Yojana is realizing the vision of Gram Swaraj of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. Our villages were never dependent, its dependence on governance was negligible. A program is being organized to connect the handicraftsmen who are being given respect, training, honorarium and tool kits with the bank after skill development and training. The artisans of the village are working as Vishwakarma. Carpenter, confectioner, goldsmith, 16-17 kinds of craftsmen, handicraftsmen are marked.
CM Yogi said that the cleanliness campaign will reach new heights in all 694 villages of Kashi. He said that the Municipal Corporation is also making arrangements for city forest for plantation. PM Modi often discusses this in Mann Ki Baat. Kashi Municipal Corporation is a role model for the country in many ways. Crores of people are associated with the call of a tree in the name of mother. A person cannot live without oxygen. This is the basis of our life. CM appealed to plant trees to save the environment and get rid of plastic. On the call of PM Modi, the Municipal Corporation has decided to free Varanasi land from illegal encroachment and develop it as a city forest.
CM Yogi said that PM Modi is taking forward the cleanliness campaign. Swachh Bharat Mission has brought about a comprehensive change in the lives of the common people. Every person should be a part of this campaign. Do not litter, do not allow dirt to be done in centers of faith, railway stations, public places, routes. The success of Swachh Bharat Mission depends on public participation and dedication of volunteers.
CM Yogi said that smart city was the imagination in the country, but PM Modi had developed 100 cities as smart cities. It also has 10 cities in Uttar Pradesh. All 17 municipal corporations are developing as smart cities. Through door to door garbage collection, solid waste management program, pure drinking water, integrated traffic management system, one can sit at one place and operate the traffic system. Can monitor garbage collection. Every house should be monitored through QR code. The Municipal Corporation has taken a ward as a pilot project in this. Taxation system will also be linked to this. CM appealed to join this facility.
