‘The construction work of Ram Temple to bring about Rs 400 crore of GST to the government’- Champat Rai

Ayodhya|More than 2500 crores have been spent so far on other ongoing construction work in the complex including Ram Mandir. The deadline for the construction of all projects, including the temple, has been set for June 2025. Ram Mandir Trust believes that the construction work will bring about Rs 400 crore of Goods and Services Tax i.e. GST to the government.

Ram Mandir Trust believes that the Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, says that the construction work of Ram temple will yield around Rs 400 crore as GST. Till now, the government has received GST of about 166 crores from the construction of the temple. However, the actual tax collection data will be known only after the construction work is completed. It is estimated that about four thousand crore rupees will be spent on the construction of all the projects including Ram temple.
