UP: Another wolf caught in Bahraich, hunt continues for others

Bahraich| The terror of wolves seems to be curbed in Bahraich, UP. The forest department has also captured the fifth wolf. He is being taken to the rescue shelter of the forest department. A total of 5 wolves have been caught so far and one wolf is still roaming loose. Efforts are being made to catch him. The statement of DFO Ajit Pratap Singh has also come to light in this matter. He said, ‘We have caught the fifth wolf. There’s one left, we’ll catch that wolf too soon. We are trying our best to catch the remaining wolf every day’.

Wolves had created terror in Bahraich for the last few days. Recently, a 5-year-old girl was attacked by a wolf, in which the girl was injured. The girl was sent to CHC Mahsi for treatment. After Bahraich, wolf attack in Sitapur also spread panic among the people. Recently six people were attacked by a wolf in Sitapur. Of these, one old woman died, while five other people were injured. Four children were also among the injured. The matter was of Sadarpur area.  Seven people were reported dead in a wolf attack in Bahraich. In more than 35 villages, people were unable to sleep peacefully due to fear of wolves. People claim that around a dozen wolves are roaming in the village. However, the forest department was saying that their number was less.
