Stock market opens with a boom, Sensex up 422 points
New Delhi| The stock market opened on the green mark on the second day of the trading week. The Sensex crossed the 78,000 level with a rise of over 400 points within minutes of opening. Sensex jumped 422.62 points to 78,387.61 in early trade. Whereas Nifty is trading at the level of 23,776.25, up 160.2 points.
