Mahakumbh: Tethered drones deployed to keep an eye on every nook and corner

Lucknow| For the first time in Mahakumbh, tethered drones have been deployed in the air to keep an eye on every nook and corner. It is impossible for anyone to escape the sight of this high security tethered drone with the ability to collect high resolution images, videos and sensor data. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this state-of-the-art equipment has been installed in Mahakumbhnagar for the safety of devotees. SSP of Mahakumbhnagar has deployed an expert team to monitor it.
Mahakumbhnagar Senior Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi has described it as a unique device that can come into alert mode in the blink of an eye. He said that tethered drone has amazing ability to collect high resolution images, videos and sensor data. It is extremely safe for data transmission and has expertise in capturing every small and big activity of Mahakumbhnagar from high altitude.
Teathed drone is acting as the third eye for Mahakumbhnagar police. It is impossible for anyone to escape from this. Through this, apart from the Sangam coast, highly congested ghats and major places are being closely monitored. Apart from this, this device equipped with high resolution cameras has been deployed to keep an eye on temples and other major places, which are issuing alerts related to devotees to the officers in the blink of an eye.
During the Mahakumbh, the police will monitor the entire Mela area with more than 2,750 CCTV cameras. This also includes more than half of AI licensed cameras. According to SSP Mahakumbhnagar Rajesh Dwivedi, 45 crore devotees are likely to visit Mahakumbhnagar this time. In such a situation, as per the intention of CM Yogi, every officer is working diligently to maintain tight security arrangements and ensure that no untoward incident happens.
Keeping in mind the importance of Mahakumbhnagar, tethered drones are being used this time. These are a special type of cameras. These cameras are tied with a rope with the help of a big balloon and deployed at a certain height. These are being installed on high towers in Mahakumbhnagar. From here they are keeping an eye on the entire fair area. They will not have to be taken down again and again and are capable of monitoring the entire fair area with their keen eyes.
With the help of tethered drones, the control room will be able to get every important footage of the fair area. Through this, police arrangements can be made immediately by identifying extremely crowded places. At the same time, any kind of suspicious activity can also be monitored. Due to high resolution, these cameras are capable of seeing very far.
