Lucknow Falcons soak in Pawanputra vibes

Lucknow Falcons

Lucknow: Anyone who is heading for a challenge, an exam, a competition or even a sports match, divine intervention is what they heavily bank on. As Lucknow gears up for high octane UPT20 action, the Lucknow Falcons team visited Hanumant Dham before UP T20, preparations intensified under the leadership of Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Ahead of the UP T20 tournament starting on August 25, all 6 teams have camped in Lucknow and are engaged in practice in full swing.

Team captain and star bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar also took the blessings of Lord Hanuman on the occasion. According to the tournament organizers and players, this step has been taken to increase the mental and spiritual energy of the team.

After visiting Hanumant Dham, Lucknow Falcons team has started practice session at Ekana Stadium. Along with Lucknow Falcons, the remaining five teams have also prepared their base in Lucknow. All the teams have started their preparations in full swing for this tournament starting from 25th August.

This edition of UP T20 is being organized on a large scale in Lucknow, in which the people of the city are also participating enthusiastically. The goal of every team is to win the title, and for this the players are working hard day and night.

The Hanumant Dham interestingly has a strong connect with the owners of the Lucknow Falcons franchise, the Ekana Group. Notably the city will soon get a 108-feet statue of Lord Hanuman at the 400-year-old Hanumant Dham on Devraha Ghat along the Gomti. The statue will be the second tallest in the city after the proposed 151-feet high statue of Lord Lakshman at the Jhulelal Park and will almost be the double height of the iconic Rumi Darwaza.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed the ‘shilanyas’ for the installation of the statue not so long ago.

The statue has been designed by Sinha brothers – Sanjay, Uday and Vijay – who also designed the Ekana Stadium in the city. The statue will come up on 2.5-acre land at Hanumant Dham.  “Lord Hanuman’s statue will be in the sitting position, like the statue of Lord Shiva on Ganga banks in Haridwar,” said Mahant Ram Sevak Das, head of Hanumant Dham, also known as Gomti Baba
