iOS 18 to be released in India on Monday night, know all the features

New Delhi| Apple will be releasing iOS 18 on Monday night. According to the report, the launch of iOS 18 will take place at 10.30pm IST. After the update of iOS 18, users will get many new features including lock screen, home screen and re-arrange app and re-design control center. The biggest feature with iOS 18 is going to pause video during recording in iPhone. This feature is not there yet, but video recordings will be able to be paused after an update to iOS 18. After the new update, users will also be able to pause video recording on iPhone and start recording again. Although this feature is very common and has been in Android for a long time, but it is no less than a gift for iPhone users.
The lock screen and contact poster will be customizable in 12 languages including Arabic, Arabic Indic, Bangla, Devanagari (Hindi), Gujarati, Gurmukhi, Kannada, Malayalam, Meitei, Odia, Telugu. Also with iOS 18 you will get live voicemail transcription in Indian English. Live Caller ID and Smart Call HisTree will also be found with iOS 18. Many types of designs will be available with dual SIM, which also includes re-design of SIM switch. You will be able to customize it from the control center.
Multi language keyboard will be available with iPhone 12 and later models which will have the option to set two Indian languages with English. This keyboard will be for messages, notes etc. The iPhone will remember the old script when switching keyboards. With iOS 18 (English + Hindi) keyboard support will be available to all devices.
The iPhone will now support alphabetic keyboard layouts for 11 Indian languages, allowing users to type directly into Indian scripts. The Alphabetical Layout will be available in 11 Indian languages including Bangla, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Siri has received support for 9 Indian languages as well as additional multi language support for Indian English. Users will be able to give commands to Siri to set alarm and timer, launch app or play music in English, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. Siri will now answer Hindi questions also and you will be able to use it in many Indian languages.
