Tesla and ‘X’ CEO Elon Musk interviewed former US President Donald Trump and spoke openly about the recent assassination attempt. Trump described the attack as a ‘stern injury’ and said it was an unrealistic situation. During the interview, Elon Musk asked the former president about the accident experience in which Donald Trump replied, “The shooting was not pleasant and it was a very severe injury. It was a strong blow”. Trump said that when something hit my ear, I immediately understood that it was a bullet. Trump further said that the moment he was shot and fell down, the only question in his mind was “How many people have been killed? Because I knew other bullets were also fired.”

Elon Musk, who previously supported Democratic President Joe Biden, has extended his support to Trump. He even started a super PAC to support Trump’s campaign. Trump has changed his stance after Musk’s support. This interview provided Trump with an opportunity to reach a wider audience beyond his traditional base. Musk said he supported Trump’s presidential election because the enthusiasm Trump showed while clenching his fists during last month’s assassination attempt in Pennsylvania was commendable. Trump had said that ‘We will fight and will not back down.’

Musk started the live stream conversation with Trump on X at 8:42 pm on Monday, because it was delayed due to a technical glitch. Earlier the event was scheduled to start at 8 pm. Musk said the delay in talks was due to a cyber attack. Musk blamed the delay on a Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack, although this claim has not been confirmed. The conversation, which started 40 minutes late, was watched live by more than a million people.
