Jammu| The Indian Army achieved great success against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. The main module of the terrorists behind the recent infiltration was busted by Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday. This terrorist module was also expected to be involved in the recent infiltration.  According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, the leaders of this module, along with cross-border terrorist operators, infiltrated terrorists on a large scale in the Samba-Kathua sector. Through this module, houses, food and other small supplies were provided to the terrorists. Through this module, terrorists were trained to hide in the mountains of Udhampur-Kathua-Doda districts and in the areas around Mount Kailash in the upper areas of the forests and were also informed about the routes.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that the anti-infiltration grid on the India-Pakistan border is being further strengthened to prevent infiltration attempts by terrorists. Accusing Pakistan of being an “means of terrorism, the Lieutenant Governor said that it (neighboring country) will never succeed in its attempt to disturb peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir. Sinha said on Sunday, “anti-infiltration grid has been strengthened compared to before. It shall be further strengthened to prevent any attempt at intrusion.” In the last two months, security forces have foiled several infiltration attempts and killed several terrorists in Poonch, Kupwara, Rajouri and Bandipora sectors of Jammu and Kashmir. Security agencies estimate that around 60 to 70 foreign infiltrator terrorists are active in the hills of Jammu region. Following a series of attacks on army personnel, pilgrims and police by highly trained terrorists in Udhampur, Kathua, Samba, Doda, Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu region, the administration has adopted a dual strategy of redeployment of forces in interior areas and deployment of 1000 policemen along the border.
