Chief Minister Yogi strict directions to immediately fill the vacant posts of Accountant, Revenue Inspector and Naib Tehsildar

Lucknow| Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave instructions to start the process immediately for appointment to all the vacant posts of Accountant, Revenue Inspector and Naib Tehsildar as well as Clerical Cadre. Reviewing the functioning of the Revenue Department and the available human resources in a high-level meeting on Friday, the Chief Minister said that in view of the changing nature and abundance of work in the Revenue Department and the Revenue Council, skilled youth should be deployed.
He has said that the Revenue Department is directly connected with the common man. In order to ensure timely disposal of many important issues ranging from income, caste and residence certificates to measurement, nomination, Gharauni, Khatauni, survey, lease, there is a need not only for new appointments on the vacant posts of the department, but also for new posts as per requirement. He also expressed the need to create new posts of Settlement Commissioner (Rural), Settlement Commissioner (Urban) and Director Training under the Revenue Council.
The Chief Minister said that Revenue Department personnel often have to do field visits for the work of the general public. In such a situation, it would be appropriate that vehicle allowance should be given to accountants and revenue inspectors. Similarly, to increase the efficiency of Naib Tehsildar, four wheelers should be made available to him. Besides, new tablets should also be made available to accountants and revenue inspectors for better editing of GPS related works.
The Chief Minister directed that the works related to the common people should be completed on the basis of merit in a timely manner, no case should remain pending unnecessarily. Emphasizing on the training of revenue personnel, the Chief Minister also gave instructions to further improve the basic infrastructure at Raja Todarmal Survey Bhulekh Training Institute, Hardoi.
