Audio tour facility soon to be available in 100 major tourist places of UP

Lucknow|Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department is busy in simplifying the facilities by using various technologies to provide facilities to the tourists. In this sequence, through the development of QR code based audio tour portal, sound based tour facility of 100 major places of the state will also be available soon.

As per CM Yogi’s vision, 360 panoramic data of 1,500 landmarks of Lucknow and Prayagraj will be compiled on the 3 D metaverse platform. After this, all this information and Geo Reference Maps will be linked to the Metaverse Integrated System and 3 D enabled web and mobile app will be created. This platform will become a medium to provide virtual tours to tourists. Both these projects will be completed and work on both these processes has started.

The feature rich web and mobile application will be developed by integrating 3 D meta verse and 360-degree panoramic views of points of important sites in the area of interest on geo referenced maps through agency determination and assignment by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, a department official said. The agency will conduct surveys for data collection for about 1,500 sites and will collect and create a database of 360 panoramic data of all these sites. Subsequently, the 3 D Meta verse Touring Experience will be made available through web and mobile applications in both cities. To complete this process, a detailed survey process will also be completed in Lucknow and Prayagraj.

Various mythological and historical places of Prayagraj, markets, major hubs of Chikankari including major historical and tourist places of Lucknow, various ghats, temples and spiritual centers for bathing in Mahakumbh will be connected to this project. Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department is also going to develop QR Code Enabled Audio Tour Portal, in which audio tour arrangements will be made available at 100 major sites of the state.

In this sequence, 19 sites including Public Library of Prayagraj, Allahabad Museum, Chandrashekhar Azad Park, Hanuman Temple will be connected with this process. Similarly, this facility will also be available at 8 places including Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanumangarhi of Ayodhya, 8 places including Kashi Vishwanath Temple of Varanasi, six places including Angulimal Stupa of Shravasti, Stupa of Kapilvastu, 4 places including Mahaparinirvana Temple of Kushinagar, 13 total places including Bada Imambara of Lucknow

At the same time, six sites including Taj Mahal of Agra, 10 sites including Shri Radharani at Barsana in Mathura, 8 sites including Prem Mandir of Vrindavan, 3 sites including Mata Vindhyavasini Temple, 3 sites including Ramghat of Chitrakoot, two sites including Chakratirtha of Naimisharanya, Devipatan Temple of Balrampur, Barua Sagar Fort of Jhansi, Mukteshwar, the stronghold of Hapur, and the temple of Shakambhari Devi in Saharanpur will also be equipped with this facility. To complete the process, content presenting live images of wandering at all these sites will be developed.
