2 chopped beetroot
3/4 teaspoon masala chili powder
3/4 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
3 cups yogurt (yogurt)
2 twig mint leaves
Salt as required
Recipe
1. First of all, cook the beetroot by steaming or boiling it until it becomes too soft.
2. To check that the beet is ripe, try pressing it with the tip of a knife. If the knife goes inside easily, the vegetable is cooked and ready to be used in raita.
3. Now peel and cut the beetroot and keep it aside.
4. After this take curd in a mixing bowl. Add roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder and salt to it. Mix the ingredients well, until the curd is smooth and the spices are added.
5. Now add chopped beetroot to the curd and start stirring. You will see pink colored curd being made. Refrigerate the bowl to cool.
