Adani Google Deal: Agreement for green energy between Adani and Google, the goal is to reduce carbon emissions

New Delhi| Adani Group and Google have joined hands for cooperation in the direction of green energy. The collaboration aims to advance the collective sustainability goals of companies and add more clean energy to India’s grid. Through this partnership, Adani Group will supply clean energy from a new solar-wind hybrid project located at the world’s largest renewable energy plant in Khavda, Gujarat. This new project is expected to start commercial operations in the third quarter of 2025.
The project will be equipped with proven capabilities in providing wind, solar, hybrid and energy storage. Through this project, Adani will be in a position to provide customized renewable energy solutions to commercial and industrial (CBI) customers to meet their energy needs and reduce their carbon footprint.

Adani Group plans to increase focus on merchant and CB1 segments to help decarbonize industries. This innovative collaboration will ensure Google’s 24×7 carbon-free energy goal is achieved by supporting cloud services and operations in India through clean energy. In this way this collaboration will contribute to the sustainable development of Google in India.
