22 Indian companies takes position in Time’s 2024 global list
New Delhi| 22 companies from India have found a place in the prestigious Time magazine’s list of best companies of 2024 released on Friday. To prepare this list, transparency in sustainability, employee satisfaction and revenue growth have been used as the basis for assessing companies.
American company Apple has been ranked first in the list. Ireland’s Accentuar is at second place and America’s Microsoft is at third place. Apart from this, German automobile manufacturer BMW and American multinational company Amazon are ranked in the top five respectively. Electricity de France, American Express, Meta Platforms, Simenas and JPMorgan are ranked 6th to 10th respectively.
IT companies were prominent in the list of time among Indian companies. HCL Tech tops the list at 112. Infosys is ranked 119th and Wipro 134th. Mahindra Group is ranked 187th. After this, three companies in the banking sector have got place. Axis Bank is at 504th, State Bank of India at 518th and ICICI Bank at 525th.
Other Indian companies in this list include Larsen & Toubro (549), Kotak Mahindra Bank (551), ITC (586), Hero MotoCorp (597), Reliance Industries (646), Motherson Group (697), Adani Group (736), NTPC (752), Yes Bank (783), Bank of Baroda (850), Godrej & Boyce (921), Bajaj Group (952), Cipla (957), Bharat Electronics (987) and MRF (993) have also found a place.
