‘Use of animal fat in temple prasad is extremely disgusting and unbearable’: Vishwa Hindu Parishad

New Delhi| Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) International General Secretary Bajrang Bagra has given a sharp reaction on the issue of adulteration in the Prasad of the world famous Tirupati Venkateswara Temple in Andhra Pradesh. He said that Hindu society will no longer tolerate such repeated attacks on the faith of Hindus. The way meat of various animals was mixed in the Prasad of Lord Tirupati temple is a disgusting and unbearable act.

Bagra advocated a fair investigation. He further said, Vishwa Hindu Parishad strongly demands that there should be a completely impartial investigation into this incident. Not only should such despicable misdeeds be stopped, but criminal action should be taken and punished against the person or officer responsible for taking or causing such a decision.

He said that Vishwa Hindu Parishad has been demanding for a long time that the government should not have control over Hindu Gods and Goddesses and temples. They should be under the control of the society and managed by the society. Government control over temples leads to the entry of politics. The appointment of non-Hindu officials there leads to adulteration of Prasad, hence we once again demand that Hindu places of worship, temples and pilgrimage places should all be free from government control.
