UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam continues for the second day, tight security arrangements at all centers across the state

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Examination is under progress for the second day. The examination is being conducted for more than 60,000 vacancies on 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, 2024. This examination will be conducted in 2 shifts daily and around 5 lakh candidates will appear in this examination in each shift. After tight security and several stages of checking, candidates are being included in the examination. During the examination, STF, UP Police and PAC personnel are seen everywhere. Apart from this, surveillance is also being done through CCTV and drone cameras. On the first day, the examination was conducted safely at 1,174 examination centers in 67 districts of the state. Nearly four lakh 50 thousand candidates appeared in the examination conducted in two shifts. The Director General of Police (DGP) also took stock of the situation by landing at Ground Zero. Due to tight arrangements inside and outside all the centers, no untoward incident took place anywhere in the state. In the capital Lucknow, 56,674 examinees appeared in two shifts at 81 examination centers. Sector Magistrate and Zonal Magistrate were put on duty at all the centers for the purpose of conducting cheating-free examinations. Also, arrangement of mobile jammers was ensured at all the centers.

DGP Prashant Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the examination centers located at Government Girls Inter College, Gomtinagar and Government Polytechnic, Lucknow. During this, he gave necessary guidelines to conduct the examination transparently and accurately. DM Suryapal Gangwar inspected various centers regarding the police recruitment examination in Lucknow. During this he investigated the system. After Lucknow University, the District Magistrate learned about the arrangements for Ramadhin Singh Inter College located in Babuganj. During the inspection, the DM instructed all the center administrators to conduct the examination peacefully without cheating and with complete transparency.
