IKEA Mall Noida-1725952253215

Noida| Ikea’s mall will be built in about 48,000 square meters in Sector-51 of Noida. There will be an investment of about Rs 5,500 crore and about 9,000 people will also get employment. The mall is expected to be operational by 2028. On Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed its Bhoomi Pujan virtually. Meanwhile, Minister Nand Gopal Nandi was present at the venue. Ingka Centers has launched its second Ikea Anchored Meeting Place in India, Likely Noida. Likely Noida Mix will be Ingka Centers’ first work station and meeting place in the world with a hotel as part of the usage development. In the coming few years, it will become an important place for retailers and buyers.

On the occasion of Bhoomi Pujan, Chief Minister Yogi said, “The launch of Likely in Noida is an important step in the development of Uttar Pradesh as a center of modern urban life”. This project not only reflects the growth and development of Noida. This is also in line with our vision of creating sustainable, community-centric spaces across the state. I am confident that it will become a historic destination, contributing to the prosperity and well-being of our citizens.”

He further said, “I would like to thank you wholeheartedly for the investment”. This is a very happy moment for me. ‘Ikea India’ is one of the investors whose confidence we have earned. There is also a proposal for a shopping centre including an Ikea retail store and office store. It is not an investment but also a vehicle for the employment of 9,000 young people. In 2017, the Industrial Development Policy was created. PM Modi, while guiding at that time, had said that investment should be linked with employment, which will provide the possibility of new employment.”

“The largest state in population, contributing 9.2 percent to the economy”, CM Yogi said. Today’s investment will also help UP in establishing a big economy in the country. UP has entered a new era of development and investment within the last seven years. Excellent law and order was created in UP. It has emerged as a better destination for ease of doing business and investment. Gautam Buddha Nagar will be connected to India’s largest airport and many important corridors have been built in terms of logistics.”
