UP Assembly by-elections: CM Yogi Adityanath made changes in the districts of ministers

Lucknow| In view of the assembly by-elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday made changes in the districts of ministers. Both the Deputy Chief Ministers, Ministers, Ministers of State (Independent Charge), Ministers of State have been given the responsibility of their new districts in charge. In this, the Chief Minister has also entrusted the responsibility of reviewing 25 districts each to both the Deputy Chief Ministers himself and himself. In this, the charge of the districts will continue to change on rotation of 4 months each. In the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi on Thursday, both the Deputy Chief Ministers, Ministers, Ministers of State (Independent Charge) and Ministers of State have been given the responsibility of their new districts in-charge.

The Chief Minister has urged all the cabinet members to take coordination and organization along. Necessary instructions have been given to take the public welfare policies and schemes of the government to the public. The Chief Minister said that the cleanliness campaign is to be launched on 17 September, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All the ministers in charge will ensure participation in this program in the districts under their charge and everyone will have to make joint efforts to make this cleanliness campaign a mass movement.

He said that as the minister in-charge of the district, the ministers will stay in their in-charge district for 24 hours at least once every month. The minister in-charge will discuss the issues related to governance with the core committee and prepare and present a detailed report every month in front of the concerned department and the Chief Minister’s Office in the government. There must be a meeting with one of the groups of social leaders including respected enlightened citizens of the district, religious leaders, progressive farmers, business organizations in every stay.

Chief Minister Yogi said that public complaints are expected to be resolved on the basis of merit in the review meeting of the district. Law and security related issues, subjects related to Revenue Department like will, measurement, name transfer, land use including IGRS, CM Helpline etc. should be reviewed and resolved on the basis of merit. The detailed report of its review should be compulsorily sent to the Chief Minister’s Office and the concerned department.

He said that there should also be physical verification of development projects and public welfare schemes of the Central and State Government at the local level during migration. Physical inspection of any one of the destitute cattle shelters, village secretariat, purchasing center, fair price shop, agricultural science center is required during the stay. He said that on-site inspection of the works of Atal Residential Schools, Primary Schools, Government Colleges, under-construction Kasturba Gandhi Universities, Colleges and review of the operation of Polytechnics and ITIs should be done.
