Sensex Opening Bell: Stock market opened on green mark, Sensex up 120 points, Nifty at 24,300
New Delhi| There has been a rise in trading in the stock market on Tuesday. In the morning both Sensex and Nifty opened on the green mark. While the Sensex climbed 120 points to reach the 80,350 mark against yesterday’s close, the Nifty also opened 33 points higher and reached 24,309.
Shares of Adani Ports and HDFC Bank saw gains of up to 1.5 per cent. Most of the shares in the banking sector rose.
