SC rejects Kejriwal’s interim bail plea, regular bail to be heard on August 23

New Delhi| The interim bail plea filed by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accused in the Delhi liquor scam case, in the CBI case was heard in the Supreme Court and the court has currently refused to grant his interim bail in this case and has issued a notice to the CBI. The bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice Ujjwal Bhuiyan held the hearing, now Kejriwal’s regular bail will be heard on August 23. Let us tell you that along with bail, Kejriwal has filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging the arrest.

Kejriwal’s bail plea will now be heard in the Supreme Court on August 23. CBI has to reply by the sane date. Singhvi had sought immediate interim bail citing health reasons, to which the Supreme Court refused and rejected the demand for interim bail.
