PM Modi praises US President Joe Biden after ‘extremely meaningful’ meeting

New Delhi| Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to America. His meeting with US President Joe Biden was ‘extremely meaningful’. During this, the leaders of both the countries discussed further enhancing bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest and also discussed global and regional issues including the Indo-Pacific region. PM Modi is on a three-day visit to America. Upon his arrival in the US, President Biden welcomed him at his residence in Greenville, Delaware on Saturday. According to Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, PM Modi’s bilateral meeting with President Joe Biden in Wilmington was emotional.

Vikram Misri said during a special briefing in New York on the first day of PM Modi’s three-day visit to the United States that the two leaders discussed various important aspects of relations between India and the United States at Biden’s personal home in Delaware on Saturday. Misery said meeting with President Biden was a really emotional moment. PM was aware that in a way it was a farewell meeting with President Biden and the fact that it was taking place at his private residence made it even more special. PM Modi and Biden have developed a strong bond of friendship over the past four years and worked together to address various global and regional challenges.

Last year Biden invited PM Modi for important official state visit, further strengthening their partnership. Earlier, the White House issued a statement on US-India bilateral relations and said the US-India Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership is decisively fulfilling an ambitious agenda that is for the global good.
