Parliament Session- Condolences expressed on Hathras accident in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi| Rajya Sabha proceedings began with Chairman Jaideep Dhankhar expressing condolences to those killed in the Hathras accident. The entire House paid tribute by observing silence. Dhankhar said- Rules should be made for such events. He asked the MPs to give their opinion. Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge said – Many Babas are in jail. Such a law should be made to stop the blind faith. Let the real people come. The fake people are looting people by building ashrams.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will respond to the motion of thanks on the President’s address today. Modi gave a 2-hour-15-minute speech in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. After the Prime Minister’s speech, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned indefinitely. The first of the 18th Lok Sabha ended on 2 July. It was started on 24 June. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that in the first session, 7 meetings were held and the proceedings of the House lasted for about 34 hours. Lok Sabha recorded 103% work productivity during the session.
On 27 June, the motion of thanks on the President’s address was discussed for more than 18 hours. It was attended by 68 members. In addition, 50 members gave their speeches. On 2 July, the discussion on the motion of thanks ended with the Prime Minister’s reply.
