Paris Olympics 2024 Day 5- PV Sindhu and Sreeja Akula to be in action, qualifying match of Shreyasi-Rajeshwari
Paris| So far, India has won 2 medleys in 4 days of action in the 33rd Summer Games being held in Paris, the capital of France. Both of them have come to different medal shooting events in which Manu Bhaker was involved in both. While Manu first won the bronze medal in the women’s 10 meter air pistol event, after this she also won the bronze medal in the mixed team event in shooting along with Sarabjot Singh. If we look at India’s fifth day schedule i.e. 31st July, no athlete will be seen participating in the medal event. Today in the Paris Olympics, Indian athletes will be seen in action in different events of shooting, archery, horse riding, table tennis, badminton and boxing in qualifying or group stage matches. Manika Batra will play pre-quarterfinal match and Lovlina will begin her campaign in boxing.
Talking about India’s schedule for day 5 at the Paris Olympics, star table tennis player Manika Batra will face the Singaporean player in the pre-quarterfinal match while Sreeja Akula will face the Singaporean player in the Round of 32. Star badminton player PV Sindhu, who has won a medal 2 times in the Olympics, will also be seen in action today in which she will face the player from Estonia in her next match in Group-M. Lovlina Borhagen will start her campaign in the 75 kg category of women’s boxing.
