Nepal: A plane carrying 19 on board crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on Wednesday. According to the information received so far, this plane crashed while taking off at the airport. The plane was going from Kathmandu to Pokhara and had 19 people on board. So far, the bodies of 18 people have been recovered, according to Reuters.
A security official posted at the airport told PTI that the pilot of the plane has been taken to the hospital. The police and fire brigade personnel are undergoing rescue operations at the accident site. The fire in the plane has been extinguished. However, no information has been received yet regarding the condition of the passengers on board the plane. Information has not been received.
