Make this tasty and crunchy beetroot chips in winters

People often consume beetroot in the form of salad or juice but can also eat beetroot in the form of chips. Beetroot chips are very tasty to eat and children also eat them with great interest. Beetroot chips are a tasty, healthy and crunchy snack, which can be easily made at home. The method of making beetroot chips is very simple, let us know about it.

Ingredients for making beetroot chips

1. Beetroot- 2-3
2. Olive Oil- 2-3 tbsp
3. Black salt – 1/2 tsp
4. Pepper- 1/2 tsp
5. Chaat Masala- 1/2 tsp

Method of making beetroot chips

1. To make this, first wash the beetroot thoroughly and cut both its ends. Now remove the peel and cut the beetroot into thin slices.
2. Now put the beetroot slices in water in a big vessel and wash them thoroughly, so that excess starch is removed from it.
3. Now spread these slices on a clean cloth or kitchen paper and dry them thoroughly. The drier the beet, the crunchier the chips will become.
4. Now add olive oil in a big bowl and add black salt, black pepper and chaat masala and mix well.
5. After this, put the beetroot slices in this spiced oil and coat them well so that the spices stick well on each slice.
6. Now pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
7. Now apply butter paper on the baking tray and keep the spiced beetroot slices one after the other.
8. Take care not to place the slices on top of each other, so they can become crispy well.
9. Bake the beet slices in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Flip the chips once in between so that they cook evenly on both sides.
10. You can also air fry or fry beetroot chips. Serve it with tea, green chutney or your favorite dip.
