Make this healthy granular barfi with roasted chickpeas! Know the recipe

Who doesn’t like eating desserts. Whenever you crave sweets, you feel like eating some. But, eating too much sweets is not beneficial for health. Especially, sweets made at the shop should be consumed thoughtfully because all these are mostly made in palm oil. In such a situation, if you crave for sweets more, then you can make healthy and tasty barfi with roasted gram at home. Now you must be wondering whether gram sweets are also there, so let us tell you that the taste of this gram sweet is very wonderful. Besides, consumption of gram is also beneficial for health. So, let us know how to make this granular gram sweet?
Ingredients for Roasted Gram Sweets:
Roasted chickpeas – 350g, ghee – 1 tablespoon, milk – 1 litre, sugar powder – 250g, ghee – 2 tablespoons, cardamom powder, almond pistachio pieces
Recipe to make roasted gram sweets:
Step 1: To make gram barfi, first of all grind the roasted gram coarsely with the help of a rolling pin to remove the peel and then separate the peel from the gram.
Step 2: Now, in the next step, add one tablespoon ghee in a pan and when the ghee melts, add roasted gram in it. Now fry the gram thoroughly on low flame until it turns golden.
Step 3: When the gram is roasted well, add a cup of milk in it and fry it again on low flame of gas. Gram should be cooked well in milk. Now turn off the gas.
Step 4: When the gram cools down, put it in the mixer jar and add half a cup of milk in it. Now grind well. After grinding, take out the mixture in a vessel. Now turn on the gas and keep a pan, add one spoon ghee in it and then add the gram mixture in it. Now add sugar powder to it and mix well with each other and fry.
Step Five: Add cardamom powder in the last step. When the mixture is cooked well, turn off the gas. Now keep this mixture in a plate or tray to freeze and add almond and pistachio pieces on top. Set it aside for 3 to 4 hours to freeze. Then cut it like barfi. In this way your wonderful gram sweets are ready to be served.
