Make peanut-jaggery chikki with this secret recipe in winter

Ingredients for making peanut-jaggery chikki
1. 250g peanuts
2. 200 grams of molasses
3. 25g butter
4. A little ghee (to grease)

Method of making peanut-jaggery chikki
1. First of all, fry the peanuts in a pan on medium flame until they become golden and crispy.
2. Keep in mind not to fry the peanuts too much, otherwise they will burn.
3. Now add jaggery and 1/2 cup water in a separate pan and cook on medium flame.
4. Cook the jaggery until it melts completely and thickens.
5. Then add peanuts to the melted jaggery and mix well.
6. Cook the mixture until all the peanuts are well coated with jaggery.
7. After this, grease a tray or plate with ghee.
8. Now spread the prepared mixture in the tray and spread it evenly with the help of a spoon or rolling pin.
9. Allow this mixture to cool for at least 2-3 hours. After cooling, cut the chikki into desired shapes.

Special tips
1. Use pure desi jaggery to make chikki.
2. You can use any variety of peanuts as per your choice, such as roasted or raw peanuts.
3. If you like chikki too sweet then you can add some more jaggery.
4. You can also add other nuts like cashews, almonds or raisins to the chikki as per your choice.
5. Store Chikki in an airtight container in a dry and cool place.
