Mahakumbh 2025: Magistrates appointed in all sectors of the fair area
Prayagraj|Construction work is going on at a fast pace in Prayagraj regarding Mahakumbh-2025. According to CM Yogi Adityanath’s plan of ‘Divya Bhavya Mahakumbh’, Mahakumbh city has started taking shape on the banks of Sangam. Construction of ghats, temporary roads and tent cities has started for the stay and bathing of crores of devotees, Kalpavasis and monks and nuns coming to Mahakumbh.
Prayagraj Fair Authority has divided the entire fair area into 25 sectors as per the plan. Sector Magistrate has been appointed according to sector and work. All sector magistrates will be responsible for everything from land acquisition to administrative arrangements in their respective sectors. During Mahakumbh, Sector Magistrates will act as a link between the general public and the administration.
Mahakumbh 2025 is likely to see around 45 crore devotees and around 1 lakh more people perform Kalpavas. Along with this, thousands of sages, ascetics and people of the fair administration will stay in the fair area during the Mahakumbh. For all this, the construction work of tent city and ghats and routes for bathing is going on war footing.
According to the prior plan, Prayagraj Mela Authority has divided the entire Mahakumbh area into 25 sectors. The Mahakumbh Mela area divided into 4,000 hectares and 25 sectors is the largest area of any Mahakumbh Mela before it.
The Fair Authority has appointed Sub-District Magistrates as Sector Magistrates for everything from land acquisition to administrative arrangements and departmental coordination in each sector. These Sector Magistrates will do their respective sector, work department and departmental coordination work during the entire Mahakumbh.
Prayagraj Fair Authority has released the list of Sector Wise Sector Magistrate. In this regard, SDM Mela Abhinav Pathak said that most of the Sector Magistrates have taken charge. The rest will soon be relieved of their departmental responsibilities and will take charge in the fair area, who will do the work of administrative arrangements and departmental coordination of their respective sectors during the Mahakumbh. Sector Magistrates will be helpful in the progress of land allotment in each sector and quick resolution of people’s problems.
