IAS officer Devi Sharan Upadhyay suspended by CM Yogi Adityanath
State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken major action against irregularities in Uttar Pradesh. CM Yogi suspended UP IAS officer Devi Sharan Upadhyay. According to the information received so far, Devi Sharan Upadhyay has been suspended after irregularities in the allotment of leases in Aligarh. Devi Sharan has been accused of giving wrong orders in the matter of land lease in Aligarh.
Devi Sharan Upadhyay was accused of arbitrarily allotting land leases. Uttar Pradesh government had recently removed him from the post of Member Judicial Revenue Council, Prayagraj and kept him waiting. According to the information, Devi Sharan Upadhyay has been suspended and affiliated with the Revenue Council. Devi Sharan Upadhyay has been suspended under Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s policy of zero tolerance against corruption. Considering the seriousness of the matter, this action has been taken on the instructions of CM Yogi. According to the information, a high level committee has also been formed to investigate the entire matter.
