CM Yogi to distribute appointment letters to the candidates selected from Subordinate Services Selection Commission

Lucknow| Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will distribute appointment letters to 1334 junior engineers, computers and foremen selected by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission on Wednesday. Along with the candidates, many ministers will also be present in this program to be held at Lok Bhavan Auditorium. The recruitment process has been completed by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission in a fair and transparent manner. At present Mission Employment is being given momentum in the state. Under this, while the recruitment process for government posts is going on, employment fairs are also being organized in the districts. On Tuesday itself, the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to the youth in the employment fair organized in Mainpuri.
Advertisement will be issued again for the post of Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). More than 50 people applied based on the advertisement released in July, but not a single one of their names could be finalized. The state government has given instructions to issue fresh advertisements. Some time ago UPSSSC President Praveer Kumar had resigned. Currently his tenure was till December 2024. Therefore, the government issued an advertisement for selection to this post in July. More than 50 people, including several retired IAS and IPS officers, were also interviewed on 24 August. These interviews were conducted by the search committee constituted under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh. According to highly placed sources, not a single one of these names was finalized at the highest level. Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh said that applications will be invited for the post of UPSSSC President by re-issuing advertisement.
