By 2028, 45.72 crore people to have employment in the country

New Delhi| The number of people in employment in the country will increase to 45.72 crore by 2028. In 2023, the number was 42.37 crore. Emerging technology will transform talent in India’s key growth sectors, ServiceNow reports. This will create 27.3 lakh new jobs in the technology sector by 2028.

According to the report, after technology, 1.5 million jobs will be created in manufacturing, 84,000 in education and 80,000 in healthcare. These jobs are driven by expected economic growth and technological change. This surge in demand provides retail professionals with valuable opportunities to enhance skills in areas such as software application development and data engineering.
