BMW: BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro launched with diesel engine
New Delhi| In the Indian market, BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro (BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro) Edition is now launched with diesel powertrain. The company has fixed its price at Rs 65 lakh, ex-showroom. The sedan will be produced locally at the BMW Group plant in Chennai, and deliveries are expected to begin soon.
Interestingly, this variant is Rs 3 lakh more expensive than the BMW 320Ld M Sport. Earlier 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro Edition with petrol powertrain was launched for Rs 62.60 lakh. The BMW 3 Series Gran Limousin M Sport Pro Edition diesel powertrain is offered with a single 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine which is mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission. This engine generates power of 187 bhp and peak torque of 400 Nm. BMW claims that the car can reach speeds of 0 to 100 km per hour in 7.6 seconds.
Talking about the look and design of the car, it has a black-out kidney grille and adaptive LED headlamps with M lights shadowline elements and dark inlay. It also gets M-specific aero package, M door sill finisher in front and rear, high gloss black rear diffuser and daytime running lamps-low-turn indicator. It is offered with four color options which includes colors like Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, Carbon Black and Portimao Blue.
Talking about the interior of the car, it includes illuminated door sill plates, ambient lighting with contour strips behind the front seat. The BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine M Sport Pro Edition is equipped with door sill strips and ambient lighting for both front and rear seats.
It is equipped with state-of-the-art technology in the form of BMW Live Cockpit Plus with BMW curved display and 3 D navigation. It features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch control display, powered by BMW’s latest operating system 8. It also has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible which has a premium Harman Kardon surround sound system with 16 speakers.
