Share Market Opening Bell: Stock market openly returned to track on red mark, Sensex-Nifty recovered after the fall

New Delhi|A decline was seen in the domestic stock market on Thursday. However, shortly after opening on the red mark, the stock market started recovering and came on the green mark. At present Sensex and Nifty are trading with gains. Sensex fell 362 points to 76,682.29 in early trade, while Nifty fell 129.75 points to 23,307.45. However, the market is trading with a positive trend.
Earlier yesterday also the stock markets had opened with a decline. Sensex opened 165.3 points lower at 76,569.59 points in early trade, while Nifty had fallen 51.55 points to 23,277 points. However, this decline did not last long and the market soon returned to the green mark. The ups and downs in the market continued throughout the day. Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were seen swinging between the green and red marks.
Market decline due to fall in IT shares
Benchmark equity indices Sensex and Nifty fell in early trade on Thursday after Wipro warned of weakness in the coming quarter amid global uncertainties. The 30-share BSE benchmark Sensex fell 362 points to 76,682.29 in early trade. NSE Nifty fell by 129.75 points to 23,307.45 points. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 3,936.42 crore on Wednesday, according to exchange data.
Who benefits and who suffers?
Among Sensex companies, HCL Tech, Tata Steel, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, Larsen & Toubro and Titan fell the most. ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel and State Bank of India were seen in profit.
Wipro shares fall by more than 5 percent
Earlier on Wednesday, Wipro reported a 25.9 per cent rise in consolidated net profit for the March quarter. It stood at Rs 3,569.6 crore. An expected decline of up to 3.5 per cent in IT services revenue was forecast for Q1FY2026 amid global uncertainties. Along with this, he also warned of weakness for the next quarter. Wipro’s share fell by more than 5 percent.
Condition of Asian and American markets
In Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi index, Tokyo’s Nikkei 225, Shanghai SSE Composite index and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng were on the rise. American markets closed with a significant decline on Wednesday.
