Youth to get interest free loans under ‘Chief Minister Youth Entrepreneur Development Campaign’: CM Yogi

Gorakhpur| Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath informed about a new scheme for young entrepreneurs, under which the government will provide interest-free loans to the youth to set up their own enterprises. CM Yogi said, “The government is going to bring a new scheme in the form of Chief Minister Young Entrepreneur”. Under the new scheme, if any youth wants to establish his own enterprise in today’s context, we will provide him loan without interest. That means he can take loan without interest. In the first phase up to Rs 5 lakh, in the second phase up to Rs 10 lakh, we will help in providing him interest free loan. And this is the reason why after the ‘One District One Product’ scheme became effective in Uttar Pradesh, the possibility of creating employment for lakhs of youth has increased. The craftsmanship and entrepreneurship of Uttar Pradesh is spread in small towns and cities of the state. The ambitious ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) program of the Uttar Pradesh government aims to encourage these unique crafts and products.”

CM Yogi further said, “Today the ODOP of Uttar Pradesh is making waves in the world. It has become a brand forest within the country. We all have to join it and I have full confidence that plants like Varun Beverages will work for business as well as skill development of the youth here. In this direction, a skill development center will work in collaboration with the Government of India. We will connect the institute here with it and provide training to the youth. If you work to link them with internship, you will see skill manpower being available on a large scale here in Gorakhpur and in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.” CM Yogi said that it will also help in achieving the goal of linking investment with employment.”
