‘Change comes not just through speech but through change of conduct’- CM Yogi

Gorakhpur| Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath participated in the last day of the weekly program 55th death anniversary of Yugpurush Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj and 10th death anniversary of Rashtrasant Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj. During this, he said that we have to be cautious of the conspiracy of divisive forces.
The Chief Minister paid tribute to Mahant Avedyanath on his death anniversary and said that organizing events on the death anniversaries of saints, remembering his personality and work, gives new inspiration. I had the privilege of working with revered Gurudev in many projects of service. He was basically a religious leader. There was a feeling of affection in him. He was a guide and a true social reformer. For simple and easy people, he was an embodiment of affection and was as harsh as a thunderbolt towards those who practiced anti-religious practices.
CM Yogi said that as long as there is lack of social unity due to caste discrimination, untouchability and untouchability, national unity will continue to be challenged. This is the reason why India’s guiding saint tradition has given the message of uniting the society. We will have to be alert and united against the conspiracy of divisive forces and work for the welfare of the country and society. There is no aspect of society and life which has not been taken forward by Gorakshpeeth. The tradition of Peeth has been to add. The bench inspired people in different periods of history to understand the reasons due to which the country had to be enslaved. This bench also talks about the unity of the society because whenever an attempt was made to widen the caste gap in the society, the country had to suffer its consequences in the form of slavery for a long time.
He said that even after independence, the mentality of slavery remained so dominant that the then leadership could not decide the right direction of the country. There was anger among the saints due to the country not getting the right direction even after the independence achieved by the sacrifice of many martyrs. Today India is moving in the right direction. The outline of India’s progress and all-round development in the last ten years is encouraging. In this situation, it is the responsibility of all of us to avoid the conspiracy of divisive forces. We have to be cautious because the money to fight among ourselves will belong to someone else, but the medium will be the people here. To avoid this, one needs to know the messages of the saint tradition. The saint tradition nurtures social solidarity.
Remembering his grandfathers Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath and Gurudev Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath, CM Yogi said that he did what Mahantadvaya said. Both the teachers gave new heights to the campaign of harmony for social unity. Many projects of education, medicine and service were taken forward. Showed the path to perfection in the resolve of cow service and cow protection. For the Mahant duo, any work was not just a sermon, rather, he used to do it. In fact, something will gain weight only when we put it into practice ourselves. Change comes not through empty speech but through change of conduct.
