Yogi government’s plan ready to develop Udhaila lake of Ayodhya
Ayodhya| Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board is going to develop all kinds of facilities for tourists at Udhaila lake, Milkipur. For this, Rs 3.81 crore has been sanctioned from the Uttar Pradesh government. With this, kids play area, construction of ghat, canteen, cottages, parking, entrance, guard room, ticket counter, mound, nature trail etc. will be constructed.
Uttar Pradesh Government’s Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said that UP is a hub of eco-tourism. In this series, Ayodhya will emerge as a center of attraction in the field of eco-tourism. For this, Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board has completed preparations. Tourism facilities will be developed around Udhaila Lake located in Milkipur with an amount of approximately Rs 4 crore.
He said that Uttar Pradesh is emerging very fast on the world tourism map. In the current year, about 33 crore tourists visited UP from January to June. In this, about 11 crore people visited Ayodhya. The Department of Tourism and Culture is trying to develop religious-spiritual places as well as other areas of tourism including eco, rural.
He said that favorable conditions have been created for heritage and spiritual tourism in the state. Our effort is that the tourists coming to the state get a different kind of experience. For this, along with tourist places, tourist facilities are also being developed. Investment in the tourism sector has also increased.
He said that, to attract foreign tourists, the Tourism Department is promoting tourist places and doing road shows on various platforms of the world. In view of the unlimited possibilities in the tourism sector, the state government is continuously beautifying the tourist places.
