‘Work on weak booths from now’- Akhilesh Yadav to party workers
Lucknow| SP President Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP’s slogan of crossing four hundred in the Lok Sabha elections has vanished. At the same time, SP emerged as the third largest party in the country. He called upon the workers to start the work of strengthening the weak booths from now to form the SP government with full majority in UP. This goal has to be achieved by holding local level meetings of homogeneous leaders.
Akhilesh Yadav reviewed the work with party workers and officials of Bareilly at the state SP headquarters on Tuesday. He said that due to the wrong policies of BJP, Uttar Pradesh has lagged far behind in the field of development. The BJP government has exploited students, youth, businessmen, farmers and laborers during its seven-year tenure.
Akhilesh said that deaths in police custody are not stopping. A record of fake encounters has also been set. Now PDA is the only option which can give a happy life to the people. On the other hand, Akhilesh Yadav paid tribute to UP’s first Chief Minister Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant by garlanding him on his birth anniversary at the SP headquarters.
