US President Joe Biden praises PM Modi’s ‘historic’ visit to Ukraine

New Delhi| US President Joe Biden called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday night. Global issues were discussed between both the top leaders. This information was shared by the White House (Presidential House). PM Modi recently visited Poland and Ukraine. President Biden has spoken to PM Modi on many global issues regarding his visit to Poland and Ukraine.

Also, Biden had a special discussion with PM Modi regarding the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in September. President Biden praised Prime Minister Modi for his historic visits to Poland and Ukraine, which was the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to these countries in decades. The two top leaders reaffirmed their continued support for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in accordance with international law, based on the United Nations Charter. The White House said PM Modi and Biden have also stressed their continued commitment to working together through regional groups such as the Quad to contribute to peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific.
