UP is the largest state in the country with 96 lakh MSME units: CM Yogi
New Delhi| UP International Trade Show began from Wednesday in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He said that UP is not only the state with the largest population in the country but is also the state with the largest number of MSME units. 96 lakh MSME units are in 75 districts. After agriculture, MSMEs are providing maximum employment in Uttar Pradesh. Before 2017 it was moribund, which had a long history, which reached the verge of closure after independence due to lack of technology and proper incentives. When our government came in 2017, it increased the programs under Atmanirbhar Bharat. We brought ‘One District, One Product’. Gave designing-packaging technology for its branding.
He said that Uttar Pradesh, the country and the world were struggling with the Corona epidemic. At that time workers were working in Uttar Pradesh. I was relaxed. 40 lakh workers who had come to Uttar Pradesh got their skills mapped as soon as they came to UP. Work was given as per skill in each district. This is why 1 trillion UPs contribute to the dream of India’s 5 trillion economy. UP is being known as the growth engine. Uttar Pradesh has the country’s largest MSME base. Many programs have been done in collaboration with the Government of India. Whatever the units are, if a victim of any disaster occurs just on registration, they immediately give an insurance of Rs 5 lakh. Has increased rapidly in Uttar Pradesh.
He said that the work and production done in different sectors of Uttar Pradesh is being showcased here. It was also seen by the world in the trade show from 21 September to 25 September last year. The first trade show was inaugurated by the President. The second edition is being inaugurated by the Vice President. Entrepreneurs of UP will benefit themselves on the global stage in front of the world. The state is being known for excellent infra. We are working on six expressways. 11 airports are operational, 10 are working, four are action models. The country’s largest airport is being built in Jewar. A target has been set to make it by the end of the year. The country’s largest expressway will also start before the Mahakumbh. We have a road and rail network. Along with law and order, skill man power is present here. 2 crore young people are being given technical skills.
